Exclusive New Product - Sea Kayaking at
Cape Vidal
Operating for over a decade on the waterways of this Unesco World Heritage site, St Lucia Kayak Safaris are proud to announce being awarded the
tender to operate on the estuary and the eastern
shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park for the
next 5 years. The new tender incorporates exclusive new areas of operation including the restricted access area at Catalina Bay and for the first time ever, sea kayaking at Cape Vidal.
|
|
- Catalina Bay – Situated half way between St Lucia and Cape Vidal on the Eastern Shores this allows for great paddles in the wilderness far away from cars and people.
- Cape Vidal – Snorkelling and kayaking at Cape Vidal. Try your hand at negotiating the waves on our double “sit on top” sea kayaks. Great fun and under expert guidance.
- Honeymoon Bend – Our old favourite! A short paddle on St Lucia Estuary with your qualified guide. See less explored areas and hear about the wildlife of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
All the St Lucia Kayak Safari guides have recently undergone stringent refresher training with Andrew Kellet from the African Paddling Association, and can’t wait to share these new experiences with visitors.
Ranging from 2 hours to full day trips St Lucia Kayak Safaris are easy to incorporate into any self drive tour in KwaZulu Natal. Book directly with www.kayaksafaris.co.za , via your preferred ground-handler or with any of the guest houses in and around St Lucia.
